Princeton, MO (2010-05-20) The corporate hog giant employing hundreds across North Missouri moves one step closer to getting an order-control machine to satisfy a court order.

However the timing to meet a legal deadline remains in question.

Premium Standard Farms has gotten the green light to install a barn scraper- essentially collecting hog waste off the floors of its facilities.

That was one of the conditions a court-appointed panel wanted the company to comply with.

However the July 31st deadline set by the courts apparently remains.

As we reported earlier this week, Premium Standard Farms says it could take the next 2 years to comply with all the requested odor control technology.
