Princeton, MO (2010-05-18) Premium Standard Farm officials are indicating they probably won't meet the court-imposed deadline for environmental upgrades.
The major Northern Missouri employer and corporate hog giant has until July 31st to satisfy a court-appointed team that they've properly upgraded technology at their multiple farm sites.
To date P-S-F has spent 40 million dollars on new technology, but say what the team is still asking for will take at least 2 more years to complete.
P-S-F President Bill Homann (hoe-man) says people need to understand it takes time to develop technology.
A spokeswoman for the state Attorney General overseeing the legal action against P-S-F says the July 31st deadline this year remains the target date for a resolution.
