MARYVILLE, MO (2010-05-17) An anonymous couple is giving 2 million dollars to the University in Maryville.... and it will go directly to help students.

Northwest Missouri State officials say for now the donors are anonymous... But request the money go directly into the scholarship program.

University Advancement Vice President Orrie Covert (koe-vert) says that fits perfectly with Northwest's vision.

The 2 million dollar gift to Northwest Missouri State ranks as the third or fourth largest donation in school history.
