Trenton, MO (2010-05-11) The Department of Natural Resources wants public comment for a creek near Trenton that's been on the state's list of impaired waters for the past 3 years.
A D-N-R study finds pollutant reductions are needed for Muddy Creek, which spans both Grundy and Mercer counties.
The agency is proposing new targets for nitrogen, phosphorus, and suspended solids to improve Muddy Creek's water quality.
Any citizens with suggestions or inputs on the restrictions are being asked to contact the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
