More MO Budget Cuts

Jefferson City, MO (2010-05-19) Dozens of services provided to citizens by the State of Missouri are being considered for the chopping block as the Governor weighs further budget cuts.

Even though the legislative session has ended.... It looks as if the state will still have a 350 million dollar shortfall.

Budget Director Linda Lubbering (loo-bur-ing) says the budget passed by lawmakers has financial assumptions in it that can't be counted on.

The state plans on announcing additional cuts by the middle of next month.
