Chillicothe Child Case

Chillicothe, MO (2010-05-21) A Chillicothe couple is arrested after a report of child abuse.

The police department says 34 year old Tamara Pontious and 38 year old Daryl Pontious were arrested for endangering the welfare of a child.

Police say they responded to the house in the 3 hundred block of

J-F-K Avenue in Chillicothe after the report of abuse and after the investigation, arrested both on endangering the welfare of a child.

Tamara was also arrested for obstructing government process. Authorities say 2 juveniles were placed in the care of family members.

The two accused were cited and released from custody.
