Cancer Screening

Gallatin, MO (2010-05-21) The Daviess County Health Department is conducting skin cancer screening today to help with early detection.

Damage from the sun can start in children and develop into cancer later in life- possibly as early as 20 years old.

To go along with these screenings the Daviess County Health Department also reminds us to practice good sun protection over the hot summer.

Today's screenings are by appointment only- you can call the Daviess County Health Department to set one up.
