Mound City, MO (2009-05-22) Substitute teachers for the Mound City School will have a pay increase for the next school year.
Earlier this week the Mound City School Board voted to raise substitute pay from sixty five dollars a day to seventy dollars a day.
The School Board also made changes to the high school curriculum.
Superintendent Kenneth Eaton says since a teacher has retired, they needed to make the changes.
Eaton adds the School Board re-hired all its employees who planned on returning in the fall.
