MARYVILLE, MO (2009-05-26) The Missouri Department of Agriculture says Biotechnology leaders should consider Missouri a prime location for business development.
Jon Hagler (hag-lur) is back from speaking to an international convention in Atlanta in hopes of attracting new business to the state.
Hagler says he and other state officials told more than 60 countries attending the conference they should take into account Missouri's Research Institutions, existing Biotech companies, and extensive farmland.
Hagler says to date, more than 2 thousand Biotech companies have created about 30 thousand jobs in Missouri.
