Marceline, MO (2009-05-27) The long-time Chevrolet dealer in North-Central Missouri vows to fight its affiliation.
That's what Cupp Chevrolet in Marceline tells KXCV news.
The dealership has been a Marceline staple since 1914 and has been selling Chevys since 1927.
Owner Robert Cupp says the auto manufacturer has notified them it's dropping the dealership, but he says this Friday he will submit a formal appeal to GM.
As of last week Cupp says he's received more than
28-hundred letters of support, which he'll include in his economic impact analysis he'll give to GM.
The company has said it will quit supplying Chevrolet products to Cupp Chevrolet in Marceline in October of next year.
