Albany, MO (2009-05-20) The Albany Board of Education announces an open meeting set for this evening.

Topics on tonight's agenda include approving summer school bus routes- a local assessment plan- and changing the board's meeting time for the remainder of the summer.

The board is hoping to have a half time 2nd grade teacher to present for hire at tonight's meeting, and adjourn to a closed meeting to discuss hiring and firing and make any negotiations with employees.

The Albany School Board meeting begins at six-thirty in the Superintendent's office.
