MARYVILLE, MO (2009-03-31) Training tomorrow's leaders is the goal of a new program starting at the university in Maryville.

The vision empowerment institute consists of a series of workshops led by motivational speakers that directs students at Northwest to launch into projects and conduct focus groups to self-inspiration.

The supervisor for the new program Ame Lambert says it's designed to bring about change on the Northwest campus.

Lambert says the goal is to find a group of select students that will become agents of change then become organizational leaders on a larger level.
