MARYVILLE, MO (2009-05-01) There's a new head of the golf course near Maryville.

Ron Darnell has been promoted at the Mozingo Golf Course from Golf Maintenance Superintendent to Course General Manager.

Darnell has maintained the mozingo golf course for 14 years.

His new responsibilities include both maintenance of the course as well as operations at the club house.

Payton Whitworth has been promoted as the Golf Services Manager.

He's been working for the city for 12 years.
