The Remington Nature Center in St. Joseph is now featuring a travel exhibit which celebrates the 75th Anniversary of the Missouri Department of Conservation.
This is the first traveling exhibit ever shown by the Remington Nature Center. The exhibit will be displayed in the conference room, and includes 36 graphic panels of over 100 images and documents of hunting, fur trade, settlers, and timber. Remington Nature Center manager, Andrea George, says the exhibit will also feature paintings by local artist Bill West.
The display is provided by the Missouri State Archives, and can be viewed until Wednesday, March 27. The Nature Center is open from 10am-5pm, Monday through Saturday, and 1-5pm on Sundays. For more information on the traveling exhibit, you can call 816-271-5499© Copyright, KXCV
