I-229 Bridge Closure

The I-2-29 Bridge in Downtown St. Joseph will be closed for routine maintenance and inspection.

Work will begin today and last through Friday. Crews will be flushing and cleaning the bridge decks and will use a snooper truck to inspect the bridge for potential safety hazards. MoDOT Customer Relations Manager, Melissa Black says closing the bridge is in everyone's best interest.

Again, work on the I-2-29 bridge in downtown St. Joseph will take place today through Friday.
