The University of Missouri Extension will host a meeting to discuss forage management for beef producers.
Better forage management can extend the grazing season and reduce expenses. Extension Livestock Specialist Amie Schleicher says one of the topics includes forage management during a drought.
Schleicher says the meeting will also address grazing strategies, weed control and fertility programs. The meeting takes place at the Nodaway County Administration Center on Tuesday March 19th beginning at 6:30 p.m. Those interested in attending should contact the University of Missouri Extension office.© Copyright, KXCV
