Northwest Jazz Festival

Northwest Missouri State University will play host to jazz bands from 13 high schools and 3 junior high schools in the Northwest Jazz Festival at the Olive DeLuce Fine Arts building this Saturday.

The festival will feature performances by large jazz ensembles and jazz combos. Associate professor of music at Northwest Missouri Dr. William Richardson says this festival is a great experience for the student as well.

All performances are free and open to the public, with the first starting at noon. For more information, contact Dr. Richardson at 660-562-1316.
