SAVANNAH, MO (2012-03-12)
Missouri lawmakers are on spring break this week, marking the half-way point for this legislative session.
Savannah senator Brad Lager says job creation and budget challenges took up most of the first half of the session. He says the house has mostly passed bills regarding the budget and expects the senate to take up the proposals after this week. Lager says laws impacting our school districts are also a continuing discussion.
Lawmakers return to Jefferson City next Monday afternoon.© Copyright, KXCV
