MARYVILLE, MO (2012-03-12)
The Missouri State Highway Patrol will conduct a sobriety checkpoint and a DWI Saturation in northwest Missouri sometime this month.
The checkpoint will check every driver on a specific highway to ensure they are sober. The driving while intoxicated saturation is a mobile operation in which troopers saturate a specific highway in an effort to arrest intoxicated drivers. Troop H commanding officer captain Duane Robinson urges the public to report impaired drivers by dialing STAR-55 on a cell phone.
