LINN COUNTY, MO (2012-03-12)

Linn County is included in a disaster declaration request sent to the White House.

The letter comes from Missouri Senators Blunt and McCaskill, who area asking the administration to declare a disaster for 18 counties damaged in tornados, high winds, and heavy rain that hit Missouri late last month. Most of the rest of the counties are in southern Missouri. A declaration would free up federal funding for those counties for repairs.
