Maryville's new city manager is on the job.

Greg McDanel comes in from a background with the city of Independence and as city administrator in Kansas. He graduated from Northwest Missouri State in 2002. McDanel says he will use his background in public works and infrastructure to continue projects at Mozingo Lake, the wastewater treatment plant, and other projects for the city.

McDanel says he's looking forward to hearing form citizens and community partners to move Maryvilel forward.
