CHILLICOTHE, MO (2012-03-28)

The Chillicothe City Council prepares its largest budget in town history.

The council discussed a 39 million dollar budget for the 2012-2013 fiscal year at Monday night's meeting. Chillicothe City administrator Ike Holland says the increase is due in part to one specific project.

Holland says city budgets in the previous 5 years were around 13 million dollars.
