Airport improvement was a prominent topic of discussion at the Maryville City Council meeting last night.
Maryville City manager Matt LeCerf details the council's approvals to enter a contract with the state Department of Transportation to improve fuel systems at the Northwest Missouri Regional Airport. The Maryville Council also approved payment for engineering services used in developing plans for runway expansion. Other ordinances passed at last night's meeting were mainly focused on approving contracts to purchase maintenance supplies for various city departments.
