Gas Act Introduced

A Missouri senator introduces a measure aimed at trying to make sure gas prices don't skyrocket.

Roy Blunt has dubbed his proposal the "Gas Act". He says it could be used as a tool by the federal government to keep fuel coming to filling stations in the event of a crisis, such as the closing of the Suez Canal or a refinery shutting down. Nearly 40 other senators have signed on as co-sponsors of the "Gas Act" proposal.
