More than $3,000 are raised to combat hunger in the northwest Missouri region.

It's part of the recent "Dine Out Against Hunger" event with the Second Harvest Community Food Bank. 15 restaurants donated proceeds of receipts for several counties in northwest Missouri. All totaled $3,603 were raised in the event.
