Today we start a series of reports spotlighting candidates running for the Maryville City Council.

Among them is incumbent Pat Cummings. A restaurant owner in Maryville and member of the city council for the past 6 years, Cummings says she approaches the city's business as a businesswoman herself. During newscasts tomorrow we will hear from another candidate running for Maryville City Council.
