Business owners in several northwest Missouri communities are on the alert after stolen checks are discovered.

Law enforcement believe a female is passing the fake checks. She's described as being in her late 30's 5 foot 7 and 145 pounds with straight brown hair past the shoulders and green eyes. The names on the checks are "Samuel Blants", "Jacquelyn and Michael Freiden" and "Lon Sollars".
