St. Joseph Symphony

ST. JOSEPH, MO. (2010-3-26) The St. Joseph symphony will be in good company for their concert coming up this weekend.

World-class soloist Elizabeth Pitcairn will take stage with the symphony playing a Red Mendelssohn Stradivarius violin. That is the same violin that was featured in the Academy Award winning film, "The Red Violin." Executive director of the St. Joseph symphony, Derrick Hinds, says our midland empire region has the opportunity to see a performance normally reserved for larger markets. The performance will take place at the Missouri theater this Saturday night at 7:30. For more information on the concert, call 816-233-7701.
