ST. JOSEPH, MO. (2010-3-10) The St. Joseph area will be visited by a special guest speaker at an upcoming event.

The Pony Express Historical Association will be presenting the noted Pony Express expert Christopher Corbett at the Patee house. The speaker will be kicking off a three day celebration for the 150th anniversary of the legendary Pony Express. Corbett is the author of "Orphans Preferred: The Twisted Truth and Lasting Legend of the Pony Express". He is also a former associated press writer and is currently a professor at the University of Maryland. The event will take place from April 1st to the 3rd. More information at (816)-232-8206.
