TRENTON, MO. (2010-3-16) North Missouri might hear answers tonight as a public meeting in Trenton could decide the fate of premium standard farms.
The corporate hog processor with interests across North Missouri is being pressured to install millions of dollars worth of environmental technology machines it says are untested. A court-appointed panel of 3 experts will decide of premium standard will be forced to spend the money or if a compromise can be reached. The public meeting is tonight in Trenton at the Ketchum community center on the Campus of North Central Missouri College. It starts at 7 O'clock.
