MARYVILLE, MO (2010-3-29) The Nodaway County commissioners are going ahead with courthouse upgrades even though the idea was brought up to abandon the building.
Presiding commissioner Joe Baumli says even though the top floor of the new County administration center offers room for expansion, that's not in the plans. Baumli says $800,000 has been budgeted this year for repairing the courthouse steeple, wood trim, and limestone columns. He says he's hoping the bids come in below the budgeted amount.
