MISSOURI STATE (2010-3-29) The new interim director of the Missouri Department of Transportation is very familiar with our region of the State.

Kevin Keith is now serving as interim director of the agency responsible for upkeep of all State highways. He's worked for Mo-Dot as chief engineer since 2001 but before that was the district engineer for the Northwest district overseeing this corner of the State. Keith was named interim director on Friday after the announcement the current director is stepping down to take a job with a private engineering company. A search is on to name a permanent replacement.
