Maryville Streets

MARYVILLE, MO (2010-3-2) Winter wear has done major damage to streets throughout Maryville, but the list is now out on which ones will see major repairs.

More than half a million dollars are going to the asphalt overlay project this year. 19 streets in Maryville are getting upgrades- some even new curb and guttering. Major streets set for upgrades include North Main street in Maryville from 6th to 9th. Thompson from Alvin to depot, Jenkins from Laura street to depot, North Dewey from 16th to the edge to the city limits, and North Grand from first to College Avenue. The City estimates the 2 new inches of asphalt on these and the other streets by early this summer should extend the life of the routes by 5 to 8 more years.
