MISSOURI STATE (2010-3-11) Despite hard economic times now, Missouri's governor continues pushing for life-science initiatives that could pay off big for our region in the future.
Governor Nixon spoke at this week's Missouri life sciences summit in Kansas City. Nixon is promoting his "MOSIRA" act, which would create a bio-tech funding pool. The governor also wants Missouri to keep education affordable and encourage students interested in the sciences.
