Missouri Budget Nixon

Wayman

KANSAS CITY, MO. (2010-3-4) Missouri's governor is now giving examples of way the State could save money ahead of the impending financial crisis.

Governor Jay Nixon was in Kansas City yesterday talking about community college training grants, but it was the budget reporters wanted to know about. Nixon says because of the larger than anticipated revenue shortfall, there are a lot of things on the table. Nixon stresses these are just some examples. The governor says solving the budget problems will require looking at multiple ways to re-structure and resize government.
