The Heart of America Tractor Club is still determining the amount of money raised during last weekends tractor cruise.
About 189 tractors took to the roads of Northwest Missouri to raise money for several children's charities in the area. Money from this year's event will be directed to a camp for children with muscular dystrophy, a camp for children with autism, Special Olympics and the Abrielle Neff Foundation. Tractor Cruise organizer and President of the Heart of America Tractor Club, Marty From says he was pleased with the community support he saw for this year's event.
From says organizers will be planning for another tractor cruise for next year. He says plans are to hold the cruise in late June next summer.
