Rest Area Closure

A northwest Missouri rest area on I-35 is set to re-open tomorrow.

The southbound rest area at Lathrop had an emergency closure because of a sewer issue discovered by staff there. The Missouri Department of Transportation- which is responsible for the facility- says utility repairs could stretch into tomorrow, but if all goes well the building- as well as the parking lot- will reopen then.
