The Northwest Missouri State University Board of Regents meets this afternoon.
Items of business at the meeting include discussion of budgets and state appropriation requests. Late last week, Missouri Governor Jay Nixon approved a state budget that includes cuts of nearly 9 million dollars for colleges and universities. Also at the meeting, the Board will be electing a new chair and vice chair and considering legal revisions to the Faculty Handbook. The Board of Regents will meet at 3:00 this afternoon in the Meeting Room of the Station on the Northwest Campus.
