The nomination period is open for the St. Joseph's Mayor's Art Award.

There are several categories, including: Artist of the Year, Arts Educator of the Year, Art and Business partnership, Art Journalism, Business Support of the  Arts, Individual Leadership, and Volunteer of the Year. Teresa Fankhauser, Executive Director of the St. Joseph Allied Arts Council says that each category has a slight variation, but the core theme is the same.

The awards will be given out in July during the Allied Arts Council's annual meeting. The nomination period is open until June 22nd, and applications can be found online at www.stjoearts.org.
