Albany R-3 School District has found its next superintendent.

Centralia High School principal John Rinehart has been named to be the new superintendent of the school district. Centraila is located near Columbia, MO. Outgoing superintendent Bryan Prewitt helped the board make the decision on his successor.

Rinehart was a 1987 graduate from Worth County, as well as earned his bachelors degree from Northwest Missouri State University. Rinehart is expected to take over as new superintendent July 1st.
