The names of the 5 finalists for the St. Joseph city manager position are released, one of them is local.

Bruce Woody is St. Joseph's director of Public Works and Transportation. He's made the short-list after the city received 13 applications. The other 4 finalists are Patrick banger from O'fallon Missouri, James Payne from Rio Rancho New Mexico, Stephen Rasmussen of Jefferson City and Gary Shimun of Davie, Florida. A public interview session for the candidate pool is being held tomorrow afternoon starting at 4 at the St. Joseph City Hall with a public meet and greet reception to follow from 5 to 6:30.
