Missouri farmers and the society of St. Andrew are teaming up to feed people in need.

The society works with farmers that have unsold, excess or cosmetically unappealing produce, which is fruit being to small or to big to sell. Then the fruit is dispersed to food banks, food pantries and other hunger relief organizations. Lisa Ousley says the partnership with area farmers is critical.

Ousley adds if you are a farmer and would like to donate food or if you would like to help the society of St. Andrew pick fruit contact them at 816-921-0856.
