Missouri's governor is hinting he may be prepared to call lawmakers back to Jefferson City for a special session on economic development.
A major bill that created $360 million in tax incentives to boost the airport in St. Louis as a hub for Chinese cargo got stopped on the last day of the legislative session. Governor Jay Nixon says he won't call a special session unless there's consensus on the issue. But he says negotiations with key Missouri lawmakers have gone well during the past 5 weeks.
The dispute centered around attempts to rain in tax credits, especially ones given to companies that want to upgrade historic buildings.© Copyright, KXCV
