The City of Marceline will lose a long time employee.

Liz Cupp will retire from the city manager position June 30th. She started working for the city in May of 1985 as the city Clerk until she was asked in 2001 to become the city manager. City manager of Marceline Liz Cupp says the best part of her ten years as manager was helping better the community. She admits there will be things she misses.

Cupp adds the new city manager for Marceline has been selected and his name is Luke Lewis.
