MARYVILLE, MO (2011-06-23)
The Nodaway County Historical Society will have a dinner and honor a new honoree.
The society will induct colonel E.D Condon at the county museum Monday. Condon had served with Harry Truman during World War 1, and been a pharmacist who owned Condon's Corner Drug Store on the square in downtown Maryville. He also worked in the Pentagon for 11 years when he retired and moved back to Maryville. Spokeswomen for the Nodaway County Historical Society Melissa Middleswart says if the public is interested they will need to reserve a dinner spot by today.
