The Nodaway Humane Society is offering a reduced adoption event called Cat-Tastic.

For the month of June to honor Adopt-A-Cat month, the society will offer any cat or kitten for half the regular price. Shelter attendant Jolinea Price says this is a great time to adopt a cat.

Price adds for anyone interested in helping the society. You can donate cleaning supplies such as dish soap and bleach or just give a cash donation. She also says everyone is welcome to the Nodaway County Humane Society to play with the cats and walk the dogs.
