Broadband Surveys

Harris

MARYVILLE, MO (2011-06-14)

High speed Internet access is a very real possibility throughout the whole state of Missouri.

This is if governor Jay Nixon's "Missouri Broadband Now" initiative can gain enough popularity. Right now information is being sought from local businesses and residents through broadband surveys. Executive director of the regional council of governments in Maryville, T.Y. Parsons says the overall goal is to extend broadband service to rural Missouri residents. Although before this can happen he says, residents need to complete the survey.

Parsons adds if residents would like to complete a survey go to www.nwmorcog.org
