Area Chess Champ

An area chess champion will be in Savannah Friday.

Josiah Weeks a 14 year old from Savannah will give lessons at the Rolling Hills Library. The lessons are for students in Kindergarten through high school who are interested in learning or improving their skills in the game of chess. Library assistant Connie Rehm says they are lucky to have such a good teacher.

Rehm adds the program starts this Friday and then again on the 24th of June and runs from 4 to 5:30 those evenings. To sign up, participants should visit the Rolling Hills Savannah Branch Library.
