St. Joseph, MO (2010-06-21) Residents in Northeast Kansas and Western Missouri are still cleaning up after damaging winds roughed up the region, displacing a few residents and causing power outages.
The National Weather Service said there were no confirmed reports of tornadoes in the area Saturday. On Sunday, the weather service issued tornado warnings for several Kansas counties.
Winds in the region reached speeds up to 80 mph winds, and there were reports of 1-inch hail.
An estimaed two-hundred people are still without power in and around St. Joseph.
nearly 30-thousand customers lost power in the same area during the peak of Saturday's storms.
