MARYVILLE, MO (2010-06-16) For some the recent storms trigger memories of 1993.
The rainfall has caused numerous flooding problems across the region.
Meteorologist with the National Weather Service, Suzanne Fortin, says it is too early to tell if we will have a repeat of the flood of 93.
Fortin says the rain will lift during the next few days but more storms are expected for the weekend.
She also says smaller rivers will eventually recede but the Missouri will remain flooded for quite some time.
